MCAS Students Win Awards in Black History Contest
Congratulations to the nine Michigan City Area Schools students who received awards in the 2016 Black History Month Contest, sponsored by the Michigan City Human Rights Commission.
Awards were presented during a ceremony at Michigan City Hall on Friday, February 26. Michigan City Ron Meer, Human Rights Commissioner Marty Corley and several City Council and Human Rights Commissioners were on hand to present prizes (Visa gift cards) to the winners.
