2013 Summer School Info

  • Welcome to the 2012-13 school year!

Superintendent with Marsh studentsThis year, students district-wide are “Dressed for Success” – and we are off to a great start. I would like to extend thanks to our students, families, and members of the community who have supported us in this effort. We believe it is fostering a sense of pride among our students, keeping the focus on academics, and building career readiness.

Our goals this school year include a renewed emphasis on the instructional core and a commitment to preparing our students for success in college and careers. We will also continue to expand program options for area families – including elementary magnet schools in STEM and the Arts, services for gifted and talented students, new program themes at the middle school level (STEM, Cultural Arts, and Environmental Science), dual college credits for high school, and much more.

I invite you to return to our web site often, and I encourage all parents to use the Parent Access system (click the icon at the top of this page). This is an important tool that will help you track your child’s grades and attendance. I also encourage you to use the Staff Directory function to stay in close communication with your child’s school and teachers. Parents are important partners in the educational success of every child.

    Go Wolves!

    Dr. Barbara Eason-Watkins
    Superintendent
